COVID-19 Office Policy Update
First and foremost, thank you to all of our patients who continue to support our office. We are fully operational and are fully committed to the wellness and safety of all of our patients and patient's families. We have increased our already rigorous cleaning protocols as well as implemented operational protocols to comply with CDC, AAP, and government guidelines.
As one of the many safety measures, all of our healthcare personnel (including our receptionists, medical assistants, and physicians) will be wearing personal protective equipment during all well child checks and sick visits.
We will also need your help to keep everyone safe. We are asking that our patients do the following:
1. If your child currently has any symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath, or have been near a person who is under investigation, or has been diagnosed with the coronavirus (COVID-19), please call before coming to the office for appropriate instructions.
2. Only one parent (or guardian) and the scheduled patient(s) will be allowed to come to the appointment.
3. NEW Check-in Process. Call to check-in, and remain in your car for further instruction. Our office doors will remain LOCKED, and staff will escort you from the entrance to your child's exam room.
4. Face coverings are required for every person entering our medical facility who is 2 years and older. Patient and parent MUST wear their face mask the ENTIRE DURATION of the visit. To protect yourself, your child, and others, cover BOTH your NOSE and MOUTH when wearing your mask.
Parents/Guardians or patients who decline to wear a face covering will be
asked to reschedule or transfer to another medical facility.
Worried About Exposing Your Little One To COVID-19?
In the hopes that we can help contribute to the social distancing movement and to ultimately flatten the curve, we are offering telemedicine appointments. For those who are unfamiliar, Telemedicine is a way to see your child's doctor using your phone, tablet, or computer from the comfort and safety of your own home. We hope that by using technology we can help prevent the needless spread of COVID-19.
